A Moose Lake Elementary student, Megan Wegge was diagnosed with a form of liver cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy that will continue  through the summer.  A fundraiser was held over the week-end in Sturgeon Lake and the Northern Lights Foundation presented the family with a $2000 check.  The Northern Lights Foundation is an organization that was a dream of Dr. Ken Larson, a local dentist.  He wanted to provide financial assistance for families that have a child or children that have a catastrophic disease or illness.
