New Documentary Brings World War I Footage in 3D And Color
It's hard to relate to history that is in black and white. It's often silent, and our brains aren't wired to fully appreciate the old footage. It's just hard to relate to it and for it to feel real. I stumbled on this trailer on YouTube for a new documentary that's called "They Shall Not Grow Old," directed by Peter Jackson.
Peter Jackson knows how to do a great film obviously, with his many successes. You may recognize his name from a little project called "The Lord of The Rings."
So what they did here is take old footage and with modern technology there were able to make it feel real, relatable, and bring the Lost Generation (that's what they were called) to life in the greatest conflict in the world at that point in history.
