You'd be working for the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank.  They are a non-profit organization whose mission statement is:   "to feed Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin’s hungry by rescuing and distributing food and engaging our region in the fight against hunger."  What a great feeling to know that you are joining a team that is helping others in need.

They are looking for a Volunteer & Development Coordinator/Executive Assistant that would be responsible for coordinating the Food Bank's volunteer program and providing support to its overall development efforts and director level staff.

It's a full-time, 40 hour per week, non-exempt job with an hourly wage of $14.47 - $21.71.

You would need the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of non-profit programming; interest in hunger issue or related social services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organization skills and an attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently, exercising initiative and sound judgment
Ability to work as a team with various staff members
Computer proficiency especially in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

They would like you to have preferred knowledge or experience in the following areas  fundraising/development, volunteer coordination and Donor Quest software.
