NBC Expands ‘The Voice’ to Two Hours
In a move that will surprise no one, NBC announced Thursday that it is expanding 'The Voice' to two hours, effective June 7.
June 7 is, of course, when 'The Voice' switches to its live performance shows. According to Deadline, the live shows will air from 9-11PM on Tuesdays, following an hour-long episode of 'America's Got Talent.'
'America's Got Talent' will keep its 8-10PM premiere slot on May 31, and will switch back to two-hour live performance episodes on July 5.
'The Voice,' which has been a huge ratings hit for NBC, wraps up its first season on June 28.
