Today is officially the first day of fall, which means we can put summer behind us, even if we aren't quite ready to yet. Let's embrace the new season!

It has been feeling a little bit like both lately, with hot days hanging on even into this past weekend. We've also had our brisk days as well.

Now, fall is here which means we can expect cooler temperatures and that other dreaded thing that sometimes comes with fall as well. (The s word - but I won't type it here.)

To ease our mind as we round out September and head into the best month of the year, the National Weather Service of Duluth released an outlook. Let's take a look.

National Weather Service Of Duluth Releases New Weather Outlook

This outlook spans for the rest of the month and into mid-October. They shared it early on Monday (September 22nd) on social media. It's not that bad so take a deep breath. We don't have any snowstorms in our forecast just yet.

The good news? According to the National Weather Service of Duluth, Minnesota and Wisconsin will see above average temperatures for the rest of the month and into the first few days of October.

Expect A Pattern Shift For Minnesota + Wisconsin In Mid-October

In mid-October, things will change. The National Weather Service of Duluth says we could see a 'pattern shift' which would bring 'regular frosts and freezes' to our neck of the woods. It could be a frosty Halloween!

This helped ease my mind heading into October because really, anything can happen as we get into the last part of the year. I am ready for fall but definitely not ready for snow just yet....or ever.
