So this is what it looks like for spring tournament dates.

Speech: 

  • Sectional meets done by April 17
  • Tournament will be April 23-24 in a virtual format

Adapted Bowling:

  • Weeks of May 10 & 17
  • will be held virtually at home sites

Robotics:

  • Saturday, May 29 & will be virtual awards program

Adapted Softball:

  • No state tournament as recommend by MAAA, last day of competition will be May 29.

Boys Tennis:

  • Last day of team sections Friday, May 28 (rain date May 29)
  • Last day of individual sections June 3 (rain date June 4)
  • Class A & AA State prelims teams and individual June 9
  • Class A & AA State team semifinals and and finals June 14
  • Class A & AA State individual quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals Tuesday June 15
  • Locations will be announced at a later time

Golf:

  • Last day of sections June 8
  • Tournament June 15-16
  • Class A will take place at Pebble Creek, Becker, MN
  • Class AA will take place at Bunker Hills, Coon Rapids

Softball:

  • Last day of sections June 11
  • Tournament June 15-16 @ Caswell Park in Mankato

Track & Field:

  • Last day of sections June 12
  • Tournament June 17-9
  • Locations will be announced at a later time

Baseball:

  • Last day of section play June 11
  • Quarterfinal and semifinal dates TBD
  • Championship will happen on June 18 at Target Field, Minneapolis

Lacrosse:

  • Last day of section play June 11
  • Tournaments June 15, June 17, & June 19
  • Locations TBD

Clay Target:

  • Qualify Saturday June 19
  • Competition Friday June 25 @ Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake, MN

John also share that there may be boys volleyball added a spring sports, and girls wrestling may also be added. The representative assembly will vote on May 11.

The MSHSL also has asked the state to adjust their mask requirements. Their eight member Sports Medicine Advisory Committee has issued a statement asking that the state lift the mask requirement for outdoor competitions. It's stressed that this is a request, and currently masks are still required to be worn.
