If I were to ask you what your favorite food is, would you say pizza? I don't think anyone would be surprised if that was the answer because pizza is extremely popular in America.

Surveys show that pizza is consistently ranked as a favorite food, with over 90% of Americans eating it regularly and a large portion consuming it at least once a month or more.

In fact, on any given day, approximately 13% of the United States population eats pizza, which equates to about 3 billion pizzas consumed annually across the country. No wonder there are so many pizzerias in Minnesota!

Of course, with all those pizzerias come several varieties of pizza, and one could argue that they are all good because, while it happens on rare occasion, it's pretty hard to make a bad pizza.

Recently, PMQ Pizza Magazine's 2025 Pizza Power report identified the top 30 pizza chains in the United States. Pizza lovers in Minnesota will be pleased to know that a majority of these chains can be found in the state, with the largest currently operating over 143 locations.
