MN DNR Hosting Jay Cook State Park Snowshoe Hike
The Winters Encounter Snowshoe Hike will take place at Jay Cooke State park on January 27th. It's a great intro to snowshoeing and they even have some snowshoes available for adults and children.
It's a short event that can introduce you to the fun activity. It starts at 1pm and goes until 2:30. They will first start with some snowshoe basics and then go on a short hike along the trail.
If you need a pair of snowshoes, reserve yours by calling 218-673-7005. The event begins at the River Inn Interpretive Center.
