Here's another study that puts both Minnesota and Wisconsin in pretty good light: both were just named some of the best states for doctors.

WalletHub released yet another study on Tuesday (March 18th), ranking the states by best and worst for doctors. We did pretty well, too!

Recently, we tanked in a completely different study. WalletHub analysts looked at how innovative each state was and we barely cracked the top twenty.

I guess we just aren't that innovative. However, this new study makes up for it! Here's why we did so well.

Minnesota came in at number seven and Wisconsin came in at number ten! Wisconsin ranked in the top five when it comes to the average annual wage for physicians, but Minnesota did not.

Both states ranked in the top three when it comes to annual malpractice liability insurance. This study also looked at punitive state medical boards, projected competition by 2032 and malpractice award payout per capita.

This study was done in honor of National Doctors Day. We do have a few famous hospitals here in Minnesota, and there is even a new television show based on a fictional hospital in the state!

The medical drama is on FOX and just got picked up for a second season! It got really good reviews and they have done a pretty good job at representing Minnesota without all the stereotypes. Check it out if you need a new binge watch!
