WalletHub Names States Where People Spend Most & Least On Fast Food

WalletHub released an eye-opening new study on Wednesday (June 11th), dropping a list from those that spend the most to the least on fast food trips. Oddly enough, Minnesota didn't land where I thought.

To organize this study, analysts simply looked at the cost of fast food items like burgers, chicken sandwiches and pizza, across all 50 states. They then adjusted those numbers to the median monthly income in each state.

Minnesota Among States That Spend The Least On Fast Food

We have some of the best fast food places in the country in the midwest, so this surprised me. It looks like we spend the least amount of our salary on fast food, along with just a few other states. Minnesota ranked number forty-five here.

Wisconsin definitely spends a little more, coming in at number 22. However, Wisconsin is right around the middle, meaning it could be better but it could be worse!
