Minnesota State Fair Announces 2017 Price Increase

The Great Minnesota Get-Together will cost a little more in 2017, so plan on bringing more money or buying one less thing on a stick.

StarTribune.com is reporting that 2017 tickets will be going up by one dollar per ticket.  Tickets will be priced at $14 for people ages 13 to 64, $11 for children 5 to 12 and seniors 65 and older. Kids under 5 will be admitted free. Advance discount tickets for all ages will be $11.

Fair officials also confirmed that there will be $8 million in improvements before the 2017 Minnesota State Fair, which begins August 24 this year.
