Minnesota Police Officer’s Act Of Kindness Goes Viral
We're not crying, you're crying!
Okay, we are all crying after hearing about this amazing and heartwarming story.
Late last week, the Orono Police Department posted a photo on their Facebook page, showing one of their officers in an incredible act of kindness.
According to their post, Officer Matt Siltala went to check on one of the area's residents. When he got there, the resident was alright but her yard needed some work done.
When she said she didn't have anyone to take care of her yard, he took matters into his own hands. He grabbed a lawn mower and mowed it for her. Check out the action show below:
The photo was since gained major traction, causing the story to gain national attention. Every outlet from CNN to Fox has covered the story.
This really gives the term 'Minnesota nice' a new meaning! More than anything though, I love this story because it shows the good in humanity when all we seem to ever hear about is the bad.
Orono is located near Lake Minnetonka, an area already getting press thanks to a big Hollywood production that is currently shooting there.
