Minnesota Lottery Now Looking For Winner Of Whopping $731,160
With the cost of everything going up, wouldn't it be amazing to win a lot of cash during the holiday season?
While the odds are certainly not in your favor when gambling, one way you could take a swing at winning big would be to purchase a lottery ticket because someone has to win at some point, so why not you?
The Minnesota Lottery has a variety of games to play, including scratch games and lotto games, such as Powerball and Mega Millions.
Another option is the Gopher 5 lotto game. Gopher 5 is a Minnesota-only lotto game that is drawn around 6:17 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tickets are $1 per play, with a jackpot that starts at $100,000 and grows until won. The Minnesota Lottery notes that a portion of every dollar played helps protect Minnesota’s outdoors.
Recently, the Gopher 5 jackpot surpassed $731,000, and someone in Minnesota won it all.
Gopher 5 Jackpot Winner Reported In December
On Wednesday, December 11, the Gopher 5 jackpot had grown to $731,160. That evening the following winning numbers were drawn: 10-22-37-38-39. Those lucky numbers on a ticket that was purchased in Blaine, Minnesota.

The $731,160 Gopher 5 winning ticket was purchased at a Kwik Trip located at 11736 Ulysses Lane NE.
As of December 17, the Minnesota Lottery had that big win listed as unclaimed. Hopefully whoever won the jackpot hears the news and still has that winning ticket in their possession.
Unless they decide to come forward publicly, we may never know who that person is. Lottery regulation changes took place to protect winners who win over $10,000. Big-money winners can become targets for scammers and fraud, so the Minnesota Lottery will not divulge their name unless they first agree to it.
So, it's time for everyone to check to see if they have that winning ticket and get a huge payday in time for the holidays. Players can always use the Minnesota Lottery Number Checker online to see if they've won.
