Megan will be competing in the finals of the seventh season of Food Network's Halloween Baking Championship which airs on Monday October 25. According to Bring Me The News: "This year's competition began on Sept. 13 with 10 bakers competing in baking challenges based on 1980s slasher movies for a grand prize of $25,000. Baker has wanted to compete on the Food Network since she opened the bakery, and on the final episode she will be competing against three other contestants having to bake using a "hated ingredient"  at Camp Devil's Food Lake as they hope to survive the killer. "

It is always such a cool thing to see people from Minnesota and Wisconsin competing on shows on national television. What an honor to make it on these shows to begin with, but then to make it all the way to the finals is quite the accomplishment. Even though I am someone who can barely boil water I do love to watch cooking and baking shows. I cannot believe some of the things they come up with under so much pressure of not only being on television but also under a strict time line. Good Luck Megan!
