With Minnesota legalizing recreational cannabis, a lot of people are eager for retail dispensaries to open. However, that's still quite a ways out as the state works on the retail aspect of legalization. Meanwhile, many people are learning how to grow their own pot at home.

How do you even get started with something like that, especially if you haven't ever done it before? I stopped in to check out a new business in the Lincoln Park Craft District in Duluth to see what they had to offer.

Legacy Cannabis isn't a new company, but they have changed their name and location. They used to be located on First Street in downtown Duluth and went by Legacy Glass. Now they've moved shop into what used to be the Corktown Deli location across from OMC. (That business moved too.)

Walking in I first noticed how bright and clean the place was. There were a lot of products for sale too! They sell THC gummies, edibles, beverages, and also all the stuff you need to grow your own plants at home.

In fact, right up front, they have a greenhouse with some marijuana plants growing. Isn't it wild to see someone growing pot in a business, legally? I never thought I'd see the day.

One of the employees came up and greeted us and was very helpful. He told us a lot about the different products they offer. The coolest part is the products are all from Minnesota. Local artists do the glass work, and local companies that make the THC products are from Minnesota too.

In the back of the store is the grow section. They have everything you need. They even have a grow guidebook for sale for only $7.

They are offering growing classes to help people develop a green thumb. They actually will have an introduction to growing at their grand opening this weekend.
