On Thursday (July 13), Kid Rock didn't confirm his alleged run for U.S. Senate, but he did reveal some other big news: a new label deal, new music and an upcoming tour.

On Instagram on Thursday afternoon, Rock shared that he has signed "a unique deal" with BMG, Broken Bow Records, CAA and Live Nation "to release music ON MY TERMS." A representative for the singer has confirmed the news to Taste of Country.

"Like politicians write books during their campaigns, I'm planning on putting out music during mine, and IT ALL STARTS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT," Rock writes, both explaining his career plans and keeping the idea of a run for office alive. "It's not a hoax, it's a strategy and marketing 101!"

Unforgettable Kid Rock Moments

Rock says that he does not have plans for "an album or anything else that has been the usual norm in the music business OR politics," but later on Thursday night, he released two new songs: "Greatest Show on Earth" and "Po-Dunk." Both were shared via music videos, which readers can watch above and below; the "Greatest Show on Earth" music video teases a tour, the Greatest Show on Earth Tour, scheduled or 2018.

On Wednesday (July 12), Rock responded to fans inquiring about the validity of the KidRockForSenate.com website, stating that the site is real, and that he would have a "major announcement" coming soon. As of Wednesday, no Federal Election Committee filing had been made, but Rock's Thursday Instagram post about new music still makes it sound as though he will run. Rock's "Greatest Show on Earth" music video ends with a line that's also on his alleged campaign website: "Are You Scared?"
