Duluth Songwriter Pens Song For Kane Brown + Mickey Guyton

He's at it again! You probably know by know if you are a country music enthusiast that a huge Nashville hitmaker was born right here in Duluth.

His name is Jordan Schmidt and over the past decade, he has written some of the biggest songs in country music and continues to do so to this day.

In fact, he's so successful, he's even earned a bunch of nominations - and even some wins - at major country music award shows.

His latest project? Having a hand in one of the songs off Mickey Guyton's new album, which is coming out later this month.

The album comes out on September 27th but this song has already been released as pre-promotion for the album. The coolest part? The song is a collaboration with Kane Brown!

The song is called Nothing Compares To You and it is a sweet love song. The video is also fun, featuring a dressed-up Mickey and Kane singing on stage together.

When the song was first released, Mickey gave a shoutout to all of the songwriters on the song, thanking them for trusting her with it. Tyler Hubbard and Bebe Rexha also helped pen the song.
