Join Cathy Kates For All The Fun Of Bay Days in Silver Bay – Guess Who’s On Stage Saturday Night?

Hey y'all, I'm inviting you to spend the weekend where all the fun is...Silver Bay!  It's Silver Bay Days starting this Friday and the excitement doesn't end until Sunday!  I'll be broadcasting from 2:30-4:30 on Saturday, but I'm sticking around for the street dance because I'm a fan of the artist on the main stage!

One thing I wanted to point out if you're a runner OR a walker that enjoys trails and the beauty of the North Shore is the Bay to Bay Road & Trail run and walk 10K.  It's their 9th annual and over half the course is on the scenic and challenging Superior Hiking Trail between Silver and Beaver Bays.

The race starts at 8:45 at the Mary Mac Building in Silver Bay, be there at least 15 minutes early.  This is how it will work.  You can park at either Bay.  For people who park in Beaver Bay, a vehicle will take yo to the starting line Silver Bay before the race.  For people who park in Silver Bay, a vehicle will take you from the finish line back to Silver Bay after the race.

• Pre-Race Day: $10 without T-shirt/ $15 with T-shirt
• Race Day Cost: $15 without T-shirt/ $20 with T-shirt

On Friday you can take tours of North Shore Mining and there will be a street dance with Vitamin Brown on the Main Stage.

Saturday will start out with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Silver Bay Fire Department.  There is a book sale, more North Shore Mining Tours, kids activities, I'll be broadcasting live with B105 from 2:30-4:30 (stop by my table to say hi) and on stage  G.B. LEIGHTON!  I'm so excited!!!  The concert starts at 8p, we'll see you there!!!

On Sunday, another pancake breakfast, a classic car and motorcycle show, church service and everyone's favorite the parade from noon-2p.
