OnePoll recently surveyed 2,000 Americans, asking how often they eat chicken wings. The study was sponsored by Moore's Marinades & Sauces, and it turns out the average person will devour 17,653 chicken wings in their lifetime. I'm curious to know if you're above or below average. I love wings, but that sounds like a lot.

If you're like me and are always looking for the best of the best, there's a Minnesota restaurant that you should visit. It was recently recognized for serving the absolute best chicken wings in the entire state.

Bone-in or Boneless?

In my opinion, getting messy is part of the fun, so I usually go for bone-in wings when I have the option. However, based on a separate survey done by Hidden Valley Ranch, it seems that a majority of people actually prefer boneless wings.

A third of Americans will reach for a drummy first, a quarter grab the flat, and the rest will gladly eat both.

Mashed recently put out a list of the best wing wonderlands in each state.

D-Spot is the spot to visit in Minnesota if your goal is to find the wings that are the best in the entire state.

This restaurant is located in Oakdale and features more than 50 flavors of wings!

The Mashed article highlights several of their unique flavors including Huckleberry Finn (blueberries, BBQ sauce, and honey) and French Toast (cinnamon, powdered sugar, and maple syrup), but says the very best flavor is the "Goat's Blood." Those wings are made with red curry, goat's cheese, and tomato sauce -  "It may sound odd, but it tastes amazing."

All 37 Minnesota Restaurants that Have Been Featured on the Food Network

Many Minnesota restaurants have been featured on the Food Network over the years. Some have closed now, but I checked out the Food Networks website, the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives website, and TVFoodMaps.com to find all of the Minnesota restaurants that have been featured on their channel in the past and found these 37 (in no particular order) that are still open.
