Saturday Night Live Star, ‘Weekend Update’ Host Coming to Minnesota
If you love stand-up comedy, here's a show you might want to check out. A former SNL cast member and host of the popular 'Weekend Update' segment is coming to Minnesota.
The comedian will perform 5 shows over 3 days in June at the Acme Comedy Co. located in the Warehouse District of Minneapolis. Tickets for this special comedy event are on sale now.
Join Colin Quinn June 20th - 22nd for a run of shows, Quinn was a cast member of Saturday Night Live for 97 episodes between 1996 and 2000, he took over hosting duties for 'Weekend Update' after the previous host, Norm McDonald, was fired from the show.

Quinn is also known for hosting the game show 'Remote Control' on MTV for 5 season between 1987 and 1990, he also hosted over 200 episodes of his Comedy Central show 'Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn' between 2002 and 2004.
Quinn has also starred in movies like 'Grown Ups' and 'A Night at the Roxbury', and he's written a couple of books, the most recent called 'Overstated: A Coast-to-Coast Roast of the 50 States', which he released in 2020. Just a few weeks ago, Quinn dropped a new comedy special called 'Colin Quinn: Our Time Is Up', which he released directly on YouTube.
Quinn will start his run of shows on June 20th at 8 PM, and two shows at 6 PM and 8 PM on June 21st and 22nd. Tickets are $39.25 with a $3.75 service fee, they also have dinner & show packages available. All seats are reserved in the club and will be assigned when you arrive at the club.
