Broadway at the Ordway in Minnesota Reflects Pop Culture Trends
Broadway shows have morphed over the last several decades, from original productions to shows based on popular movies, TV shows, and other mainstream entertainment. The new 2025–26 lineup released by the Ordway in St. Paul clearly reflects that.
Season Begins with a Familiar, Quirky Family Visiting Minnesota
The Broadway season at the Ordway will kick off on September 30 with The Addams Family. This quirky, dark family has been around since 1938, and they'll entertain audiences in Minnesota with this "magnificently macabre musical" through October 5.
From Romance to Comedy
Based on the best-selling novel and blockbuster movie, The Notebook will hit the stage at the Ordway November 18–30. Up next is a long-running musical comedy that is touring with a brand-new production of the show Sister Act, featuring music from Tony and 8-time Oscar Award winner Alan Menken.

Critically Acclaimed and Fan Favorites Come to Minnesota
The next production coming to the Ordway is a show that won 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kimberly Akimbo, running February 24 through March 1.
Based on the film, Mrs. Doubtfire is next on the schedule. This new musical comedy is getting rave reviews, with The Hollywood Reporter calling it "a feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers."
Python, Queens, and a Grand Finale
One show I’ve personally wanted to see for years, Monty Python’s Spamalot, is coming to St. Paul’s Ordway Theater, June 10–14. Finally, the Tony-winning musical Six will make its Minnesota debut June 17–28.
Individual tickets for these shows will be available at a later date, so stay tuned. If you're interested in subscribing to ticket packages, you can get more details about that here.
