There are plenty of throwback shows that make their way around the country each year, including shows like the "My 2000s Playlist" tour coming to Minnesota in December of 2023 and the recurring "I Love The 90s" Tours that swing through each year.

Another show that throws it back to the 80s and early 90s brings some huge names from that era of music!

New Kids On The Block announced a new tour, giving a nod to a previous stadium tour in the process. The boy band announced earlier this week they'd be hitting the road on their "The Magic Summer 2024 Tour" - similarly named to their "The Magic Summer Tour" from 1990.

Just like the original "The Magic Of Summer" tour, NKOTB will be bringing their "The Magic Summer 2024" tour to Minnesota!

The original 1990 tour saw NKOTB play at Harriet Island in the Twin Cities for the Fourth of July in 1990. This time around, they'll be playing a different Twin Cities area venue, but they'll be bringing a couple of other big names with them.

Coming with New Kids will be pop superstar (and later American Idol judge) Paula Abdul as well as DJ Jazzy Jeff, part of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.

The band announced their new tour with a fun throwback-style video that features each of the band members coming to life from being in the form of their highly-popular line of dolls back in the day.

Adding a little extra throwback flair is an appearance from Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler in Full House and Fuller House.

Pretty fun, right?

If you want to see the show, NKOTB, Paula Abdul, and DJ Jazzy Jeff will be playing at the Mystic Amphitheater in Prior Lake on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

They will be swinging through Wisconsin later in the summer as well, playing at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee on August 24.

Fan club tickets went on sale on November 1, and they go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 3 at 10 am via LiveNation.
