One of the hot trends in fast food is teaming up with celebrities for special themed meals, and Culver's is about to jump on that trend with a new meal.

McDonald's has done this type of promotion with a handful of celebrities, mostly musical acts, for special collaboration meals including BTS, Travis Scott, Saweetie. Other brands have also teamed up with big names, including Ice Spice and Dunkin, Meg thee Stallion with Popeye's, and Justin Bieber worked with Tim Hortons, but Culver's is trying something different and teaming up with a sports star for its first collab.

Culver's is collaborating with Wisconsin native JJ Watt for what is being called the JJ's Way meal, which will include a Culver's Deluxe burger, an order of Wisconsin cheese curds, a glass of Culver's signature root beer, and a turtle sundae made with chocolate frozen custard.

The new meal will be at Culver's locations nationwide from August 5th through September 29th, and for every meal sold, Culver's will make a $1 donation to the JJ Watt Foundation, up to $100,000.

Growing up in Wisconsin, Watt knows all about Culver's, in a press release he says, "It’s crazy to think about having my own meal at a place I’ve been visiting with my friends and family since I was a kid, and I can’t wait to share it with Culver’s guests from back home in Wisconsin to Texas to Arizona and everywhere in between."
