Club One Under Sports Simulator Bar Announces Grand Opening

Earlier this year, we learned that a new bar oriented around golf simulators would be opening in the old Rex Bar location at the Fitger's Complex in Duluth.

The Rex closed in the later part of 2023, leaving a vacancy in the popular food, shopping, and entertainment destination on Superior Street.

After some work to transform the space to accommodate the new sports bar with simulators, we now know the details for the grand opening.

What do I need to know about this new business?

Being called "Club One Under", the business says it will offer "a compelling alternative for golf enthusiasts, both seasoned players and newcomers alike".

This isn't the only business of its kind in the Twin Ports area, with The Caddy Shack in the Lincoln Park neighborhood also offering a bar experience with golf simulators.

What Club One Under's website says makes them different than other golf facilities is "our commitment to delivering a remarkably authentic golfing encounter within a vibrant and social atmosphere".

Going beyond that marketing speak, the Club One Under website explains that they will be going beyond just golf simulators with their experience. That will be a core part of the business, with leagues, lessons, and opportunities to swing away casually; but their website says they will also offer more.

Some of the other experiences Club One Under says they will offer include simulator offerings like football, hockey, baseball, dodgeball, soccer, and more.

Simulators are booked by the hour, which can be done through their website.

Beyond this, the classic sports bar experience with cocktails and TVs to watch the game will be available too.

When does Club One Under Open in Duluth?

The Club One Under Facebook page shared grand opening details for the new business, explaining they will be opening to the public just in time for the big Vikings vs. Packers matchup.

The new business will open on Sunday, September 29 at 9 am, staying open until 10 pm. Some of the things they highlight as part of their grand opening on Sunday include drink specials for fans in their Vikings or Packers attire, additional drink specials based on what happens in the game, as well as interactive sports competitions using the simulators and raffles.
