Minnesota had some significant snowfalls as we approach what some call the Frozen Tundra season. Hundreds of crashes were reported throughout the Land of 10,000 Lakes and some were caught on video.

Honestly, driving in the winter gives me the most anxiety I've ever experienced as mother nature can be relentless. You never know what's going to happen when ice begins to form on roads.

The Minnesota State Patrol tweeted out that between 6 am to 11 am there were 322 reported crashes:

Minnesota Safety posted a couple of crash videos Monday, with one showing a car having an insanely close call on an icy Minnesota road. Check out that video here.

Fox 9 also shared several videos of crashes caught on video:

I said it before, and I'll say it again: One bad patch of ice is all it takes sometimes. I remember my first car accident when I was 16 over Thanksgiving break. I hit a patch of ice on an exit ramp on the interstate and ran into the guardrail. Within a few seconds, my car got hit by another and I ran out of my car. Within five minutes, it turned into a 15-car pileup and I still get nervous when I take the exit ramp, even in the summer as the flashback comes rushing back every time. The turtle always wins the race, so be cautious and drive low and slow.

Storm Chasing Video also shared a traffic camera scan of winter weather conditions around metro Minneapolis. The audio that you'll hear is from the Metro area public safety radio. You can check it out below:
