‘Grumpy Old Men’ House For Sale In St. Paul [VIDEO]
If you're a big fan of the 'Grumpy Old Men' movie, or just want to own a piece of nostalgic movie history, then you'll be very interested in a house for sale in St. Paul.
StarTriubune.com is reporting that one of the houses used in the filming of the 1993 hit 'Grumpy Old Men' is for sale. The house, built in 1918, was referred to in the movie as "the old Clickner place".
In the movie, this is the house that Ann-Margret’s character, Ariel, had just moved into. Producers chose the home because Ariel was a goddess in the movie, especially to the characters played by Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon, and the home sat up on its lot and had a larger than normal lot size for the neighborhood.
While the exterior of the house was used in the movie, the interior shots were actually done at Paisley Park Studios, where the home's interior was recreated.
The listing price for the property is $250,000.
The house, which has been called a "time capsule", hasn't had updates done for some time and it has a note on the front door noting its connection to 'Grumpy Old Men'.
