The NHL Stadium Series is coming this weekend to Minnesota, with a lot of activities planned before and around Sunday's game between the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks at TCF Bank Stadium.  In honor of this event, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has made a proclamation.

It's officially "NHL Stadium Series Weekend" this weekend in Minnesota.  Not only will there be the alumni game Saturday at 4 p.m. and the Wild game Sunday at 2:30 p.m., but special lighting will be done on the I-35W bridge throughout the weekend.

According to the Minnesota Wild, the lights of the bridge will be changed to the official Wild colors of Iron Range Red and Forest Green as a special tribute.  The I-35W bridge, which goes over the Mississippi River, will be specially lit both nights of this special weekend.

Remember, we've teamed up with McDonalds to secure a pair of tickets to give away so you can enjoy the NHL Stadium Series in Minneapolis.  We will announce the grand prize winner Friday morning, so make sure to use the link below and enter to win right away.
