Now, a GoFundMe page has been set up in his honor to help cover funeral expenses and other expenses related to his estate. According to the page, Patrick, whose loved ones called him Bubba, was relaxing in his car after a long day at work.

Patrick had completed his day of work at his new job as an equipment operator. He went out and brought a pizza back to his hotel room, he finished eating and went out to sit in his car to relax. I am told that was a favorite activity of Patrick's, just watching youtube videos and listening to music in the front seat of his car. While seated in his car an individual was in the hotel who had just shot a clerk who also passed. The shooter left the building and encountered Patrick in his car and shot him twice killing him instantly. We want to help the family with funeral and other expenses related to Patrick's estate.
At the time of writing, the goal of $10,000 had been reached but those that want to help can still donate. All money will go to Patrick's father and family to cover the costs mentioned. His obituary states that he was best friends with his parents and had five siblings.
