A huge congratulations goes out to former Minnesota hockey player Jack Jablonski as he just signed an NHL contract with the LA KIngs organization!

In 2011 Jack sustained a devastating injury during a hockey game for his High School Benilde-St Margarets where he sustained a broken neck resulting in paralysis. Even though I have never attended a hockey game in my life, I felt compelled to follow his amazing story. Before I got into radio I worked at a medical facility in Minneapolis with young adults who sustained head and spinal cord injuries, and I really was hoping that Jack would have a miraculous recovery.

Overtime with lots of treatment and his own personal drive Jack has come so far in his rehabilitation, but has also been an advocate for others who have become injured as well. He and his family set up the Bel13ve in Miracles Foundation who's Mission statement is as follows: "Jack Jablonski Bel13ve in Miracles Foundation is driven to advance medical research and innovative treatments that are achieving victories over paralysis. Our vision is a world where paralysis is no longer permanent."

Jack most recently was attending school at USC and doing an internship with the LA KIngs before landing the job with the organization. Jack is truly an example of someone who never gives up, and has shown through hard work anything is possible. Congratulations Jack from all your friends back in Minnesota we know you will have much continued success!
