Prices Increasing Soon For Popular Duluth Race
Is your resolution for 2025 to save some money or get more steps - or maybe both? You'll want to make note of this!
One of the most popular races in the Northland is just a few weeks away and you have a bit more time to register before prices increase.

The Fitger's 5K kicks off on Saturday, April 12th. It begins and ends near the famous Fitger's building in downtown Duluth.

It begins at 9 a.m. and shuttles runners eastward on Superior Street to 12th Avenue East before heading downhill (yes, downhill!) to London Road. Runners will then reverse course and head back towards the Fitger's building.
The Fitger's 5K is one of a handful of super fun races that take part throughout the year with the Young Athlete's Foundation and Grandma's Marathon. Prices are increasing on April 1st so register now to save some money.

Beginning on the first through race day, prices will jump to fifty bucks. All finishers will get a medal and a shirt. You can register online right now on the official Grandma's Marathon website.
I love the Fitger's 5K because the weather is always perfect - it is not too hot or too cold! Plus, you don't have to be an elite runner to take part in it. It truly is just a fun race and the shirts are the best!
