Because my husband is involved with the Swain Cross Country Meet, I only get to Bayfield's Apple Festival every three years. This year we camped in the quaint town of Ashland, WI and day tripped through the colorful autumn foliage to Bayfield. The photo opportunities were abundant and I wanted to share them with you.

Another town that is a must-stop while on the way to the Bayfield Apple Festival is Washburn. If you get a chance, dine at the Steak Pit (great play on words, right?).
