Family Says Mall Of America Victim Could Be Home by June

It was two weeks ago that 5-year-old Landen was the victim of an unimaginable act of violence at the Mall Of America.  Today, his family made an amazing announcement.

StarTribune.com shared the following statement from Landen's family:

"All praise, glory and honor to Jesus. He saved our son's life and is healing him in the most miraculous ways," the family said Friday in a statement released by their attorney, Stephen Tillitt.

"We are so elated to let you know that our son is now alert and conscious and is no longer in critical condition," the statement continued.

"We are now turning our focus to additional surgeries, healing, rehabilitation and eventually a return home, which we hope will happen by June."

A GoFundMe page that was created for Landen has now surpassed $1 million in donations from over 28,000 people and the page continues to see donations come in for the family.

After such a horrible, cruel act on April 12 at the Mall Of America, this appears to be the miraculous ending for Landen and his family that everyone was hoping for.
