Eric Church Gives Minnesota Some Love In Social Media Post
Eric Church may have a soft spot for Minnesotans...or at least the state of Minnesota, judging by his latest post on social media.
As you already know by now, the country star is headlining a massive show at U.S. Bank Stadium this summer. It is a special show that isn't part of his official tour and features newcomer Ernest and Morgan Wallen as openers.
This lineup is made even better by the fact that Church is Wallen's country music idol. He has been very vocal about the fact that Church influenced his career in a big way and even shared an emotional message about getting to open the show after news was announced.
The show was announced earlier this month. Minnesotans freaked out about the chance to see some of the biggest names in country music on one docket and it seems that the artists are just as excited as we are!
Church gave the Minnesota show some love on social media over the weekend after surprising a massive crowd in Nashville! He joined Wallen on stage on night two of his three-night run at Bridgestone Arena.
The two performed two songs together: Quittin' Time from Dangerous: The Double Album, which was written by Church and one of Church's big hits, Smoke A Little Smoke. The crowd went wild and it gave Minnesotans a small taste of what we can expect at the show this summer.
It was after the show that was exciting, though. Church took to his Facebook page after the show to share how excited he was for the Minnesota show in particular. Check it out below:
We love to see a shout-out to Minnesota! This excitement just proves even more how amazing this once-in-a-lifetime show is going to be. It is going to be quite epic.
By the way, a lucky fan was in attendance at the show and recorded the performance so you can get another little taste of this epic lineup before the actual show this summer.
Last but not least, Wallen himself also shared his excitement about sharing the stage with his musical hero. He shared a bunch of photos of the pair on his Instagram page after the show.
Wallen has also set his first headlining gig at a stadium! He will be bringing his Dangerous tour to a massive stadium in Texas. First though, he will be playing a stadium right here in Minnesota. I can't wait.
