I saw this on my feed today, and I had to find out more. There's a guy in Wisconsin who dives into bodies of water and cleans up trash and lost lures. His goal is to try to make it a safer environment for both people and wildlife. Check out this haul of lures he found in just over an hour of diving. That's crazy!

Eddie Bieber AKA 'Ed The Diver'

His name is Ed the Diver, and he's all over the internet. He's a professional diver who volunteers his time to clean up the waterways and makes some cash on it as well. He sells the lures and other finds on his website, along with his own apparel and other miscellaneous things.

Ed runs his own diving recovery business. He's done recovery dives in Wisconsin mostly, but has expanded his service to Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota.

I had no idea how many fishing lures and lines, and other garbage are on the bottom of these lakes. In this particular video, you can see that this is a very popular fishing spot on the Menominee River. People fish from the bridge, casting their lures into the rocky bottom near the dam.
