In just a few short weeks, Duluth's 'Iron Mug Coffee House' will close their doors for good.

The business announced the sad news on their Facebook page Wednesday morning, writing:

As most of you know we have decided to make the hard decision to close our wonderful restaurant. We have enjoyed getting to know the wonderful people in Morgan Park as well as all the people that drove out to check our place out. I’m so glad that I got to witness and be part of all the new friendships that developed here because that really was what this place was all about. Again thank you for all the support these last four years.

No other explanation was given for the close. Sad customers flooded the post's comment section mentioning how big of a loss the closure is for the area.

Aside from coffee, the shop also offers baked goods, sandwiches, pizza and ice cream. It also serves as an ale house.

The 'House' first opened in July of 2014. It is located in the Morgan Park neighborhood, at 1096 88th Avenue West in Duluth.

I stopped by today to try it out for the first time and I absolutely loved it. It is in such a cool part of town and the inside was super unique. I will be sad to see it go.
