Duluth’s New Rooftop Tiki Bar Has An Opening Date

I am so ready for this! I have been super excited about Duluth's new tiki bar ever since I learned about it back in February. It truly helped me get through this long winter. Ha!

In case you missed it, Club One Under is getting into the tiki business, expanding their business model to include something we definitely welcome with open arms here in the Northland: a tiki bar!

The spot will have handcrafted cocktails and of course the most incredible views ever overlooking Lake Superior. Club One Under is a sports bar with golf simulators located in the Fitger's complex.

This tiki bar is an extension of it - and now we have an opening date. It is coming sooner than you might think! (Below is a rendering of what the vibe of the space will be like, by the way.)

Duluth's New Tiki Bar Gets A Grand Opening Party - Here's When

This rooftop tiki bar will be holding a big grand opening on Friday, June 12th! That means sipping a delicious drink overlooking the lake is just over a week away! The party will kick off at 3 p.m.

The party will keep going until close. Enjoy a ribbon cutting right at kickoff, samples and a raffle drawing where you can win some great prizes. You can also park for free in the ramp as an extra added bonus.

There will also be free golf, racing and flight simulators. You definitely want to take advantage of this fun new bar while you can since it is seasonal. I talked to the man behind the spot, Mike Locker, back when it was announced in February.

At the time, he said they wanted to create a space that feels like a mini escape. Their drinks will have a local feel, named after some of our most iconic attractions as well. I love a good theme!

I can't WAIT to drink a fruity drink while overlooking Lake Superior. You can't be in a bad mood while doing that! I will be sure to write all about it, for research of course.
