With nearly two feet of snow falling in Duluth and many roads being completed covered, some people might think it is a great idea to jump on your snowmobile to get around. Duluth city officials beg to differ.

In an update shared by the City of Duluth, they are asking the public not to snowmobile on city streets and sidewalks, as it makes snow removal more difficult.

While you might be getting a little stir-crazy after being asked to shelter in place for over a day, snowmobiling on city streets or sidewalks packs down snow and also gets in the way of crews as they try to clear paths for everyone.
