Duluth Now Has 7 Electric Buses In Its DTA Fleet
The Duluth Transit Authority has unveiled its 7 new electric buses that are going into service. They are the first fully electric buses in Minnesota, and they've been tested to handle the daily rigors of Duluth's hills.
According to the Duluth News Tribune, the buses cost about $1 million each and they are designed to charge over night, offering about 7-8 hours of drive time.
The 7 buses will join the fleet of 70 buses that the DTA uses daily. Be on the lookout for them and enjoy the ride with the larger windows and state of the art technology.
