This is one title we are very happy to have!

The New York Post created the list based on the places across the country that have "lights, decorations and Santas aplenty" along with "weird and wonderful traditions of their own."

So why did Duluth make the top ten?! Here's what they had to say:

This industrial town on the shores of Lake Superior has plenty of that legendary “Minnesota nice,” as exemplified during the holidays by volunteers who brave the frosty temps to hand out hot chocolate and other treats at the country’s largest holiday light show experienced on foot. The headliner is a 12-story Christmas tree illuminated with more than 150,000 bulbs. The city’s Christmas City Express — a vintage train wrapped in holiday lights and decor — is another popular family-friendly offering.

The Christmas City Express is incredible AND Bentleyville brings people from all over the area to Duluth every single year. Hey - the giant light display even brings some famous faces to the Northland.

And these are just a few of the amazing festivities we have going on in the Northland this time of year!

Other "Christmas" cities that made the cut include Strasburg, Pennsylvania and Taos, New Mexico.

More obvious towns that received a mention in the top ten are Santa Clause, Indiana and North Pole, Alaska. No other explanation is needed for those ones!

I just love Duluth this time of the year. Thanks for the shout out, New York Post!
