New Date Announced For Lake Superior Zoo Eggstravaganza In Minnesota
Every year during Easter weekend in Duluth, Minnesota, the Lake Superior Zoo celebrates with its Eggstravaganza. It's a full day of Easter and spring-related fun for the family, filled with activities.
This year, however, Mother Nature wasn't feeling very springlike, with two Winter Storm Warnings being issued into Easter weekend. Therefore, the Lake Superior Zoo decided to close on Saturday, April 4, the day of this year's Eggstravaganza.
That left a lot of families, many of whom had already purchased tickets for the event, bummed out. However, that disappointing news was quickly replaced with good news; the Lake Superior Zoo didn't cancel the Eggstravaganza, it only moved it.

Hopefully, moving the event into May means that we don't have to worry about snow being an issue, but the way this spring has gone so far, you never know.
