
Northern Minnesota’s 2025 Fourth Of July Forecast
July is officially here and it is the month that goes by the fastest in my opinion! Summer always flies by in the Northland.
All eyes are on this weekend, as the Fourth Of July creeps up on us at the end of the week. In our neck of the woods, most of us spend the holiday outdoors.

This is especially true in northern Minnesota, where we head to our cabins or the nearest lake. We also head to Bayfront Festival Park for the annual Fourth Fest event!
No matter what you're doing in the Duluth area, you probably want to see fireworks right? The forecast, at the time of writing, might get in the way of that.
Fourth Of July Forecast In Duluth Isn't Ideal - For Now!
We all know that things can change - and do change - so quickly in Duluth and surrounding areas. That's why we shouldn't panic just yet. It appears we may get rain on Friday (July 4th), which would put a big dent in our plans.

The National Weather Service of Duluth shared a look into what we can expect later this week - and it looks like we will see pretty moderate rain chances Friday afternoon and into Saturday. Some storms could be severe with heavy rain.
That's Not All - Hot Weather Expected In Duluth Area This Weekend
Of course, it wouldn't be July without some very hot temperatures to kick things off the month. The National Weather Service of Duluth shared that it will be hot and humid, with upper 80s in Duluth.

The hot weather paired with storm chances and humid conditions means the weather could get nasty in more ways than one. Be prepared if you are doing any outdoor activities and make sure to stay hydrated!
