Job-seekers can safely shop for a new position and employers can recruit new personnel to add to their staff.  A drive-through job fair has been scheduled for Thursday, September 17 - 12 Noon until 4:00 PM at the Superior Public Library.  This COVID-19-friendly event is being hosted by the Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board in the library's parking lot.

Ahead of the event date, the organizers are looking for companies and businesses that are seeking to add to their staff to take part. They've set up a web page that provides information about the drive-through job fair and allows for an easy-sign up to participate.  Click here to get started.  Potential employers are asked to mail 150 one-page recruitment flyers to the Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board - so that they will be ready for disbursement at the drive-through event.  In addition, the organizers are encouraging those taking part to use masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers as accordingly needed.  (The organizers will be doing the same as materials are being assembled and distributed). Additional comments and questions should be directed at Scott Schultz, 715-201-8493.

Individuals looking for a job and planning to attend the drive-through job fair can get more information, too.  The Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board and the Superior Public Library have established an event page on social media.  Click here to get the details, and declare your interest in the event - so that you might receive updates and reminders as the date gets closer.

Attending the job fair will be super-easy.  When you approach the parking lot, just stay in your vehicle, follow the signs and the flow of traffic; informational packets will be brought right to your vehicles window - so you'll never have to leave your car.
