Warning: there may be spoilers ahead! By now, it's likely you've heard about the FOX show Doc. The show just wrapped its second season this week and has become a huge hit since its debut.

It was picked up a few years back and has gone on to become one of the most popular shows on television today, even breaking records in its series premiere. Fast-forward to today and we got a two-part season finale for the second season!

The episode was intense to say the least, with a scary and extremely deadly virus causing the sixth floor of the fictional hospital to go into lockdown. For the record, the show takes place at a fictional hospital in Minneapolis.

The show is a fun watch because even though it isn't filmed here, there's always fun nods to Minnesota. Sometimes the nods are subtle and other times the nods are front and center.

In the season finale, there was a very subtle but also front and center nod to Minnesota. At one point in this dramatic finale, which is definitely not for the faint of heart, you can see a Timberwolves hat!

If you haven't caught up yet, this is the point where you stop reading. At one point, one of the characters in the show has to decide who will get one of the few doses of a serum that can stop this virus.

Of course, the hat they use to draw the names out of? A Timberwolves hat. That is definitely not what they were made for but I guess I love the little attention to detail. This part happens in the second part of the season finale called Happy Birthday, with the description saying:

The team must choose who survives as they struggle to find a cure with limited resources.

As for the show as a whole, it follows a doctor who loses her memory in an accident and has to rebuild her life piece by piece. It is based off an Italian series.

The show has been so successful that it scored a third season renewal. I need a little time to chill out after that intense season finale!
