When people who commit serious game violations are forced to forfeit their equipment, the Minnesota DNR puts those items up for public auction.  The next auction of confiscated hunting and fishing equipment is scheduled for Saturday, April 29.

The auction will begin at 9 a.m. at Hiller Auction Service, 10785 261st Avenue in Zimmerman, Minnesota.

According to the DNR, items offered for sale include, but are not limited to: firearms, bows, tree stands, fishing rods and reels, tip-ups, traps, trail camera, spotlights, scopes and spears. There are 387 firearms, 100 bows, 280 other items.

You can inspect items Friday, April 28, from 1 to 4 p.m., and at 7 a.m. the day of the auction.

There has not been a public auction of this kind since 2014, so there are a lot of items available.

Anyone purchasing a firearm must pass a background check and you can click the link below to see a list of firearms and bows that will be for sale.
