Country Throwback Honors Boo At The Zoo with a Pam Tillis Hit [VIDEO]

It's another Boo At The Zoo this Saturday at the Lake Superior Zoo, where Chris Allen and I will be handing out candy to all the awesome kids.  In honor of that, my Country Throwback this week features a Pam Tillis hit featuring an animal in the title.

"Let That Pony Run" was written by Gretchen Peters, and Pam Tillis included it on her 'Homeward Looking Angel' CD.  The single was released in 1992 and it became became a top five hit in the US.

Enjoy the tune and we'll be looking for you running around at Boo At The Zoo Saturday from 10am - 4pm.

Not sure if you'll see any ponies, but I couldn't find any country songs about Polar Bears.
