After the flooding in the Northland last year, Highway 210 in Carlton County suffered a lot of damage.  The repairs have officially begun.

KBJR-TV reports that MNDOT officials say the $2.9 million project will realign and reconstruct half a mile of highway along 210 through Jay Cooke State Park.

The project includes a new bridge on 210 which will include a bike lane, where the road collapsed during the flood.
