The College of St. Scholastica has joined the University of Wisconsin-Superior and the University of Minnesota-Duluth in addressing the COVID-19 coronavirus with a plan that includes moving classes to an online venue.

In an update on Wednesday, the College of St. Scholastica has made the decision to extend the college's spring break until Friday, March 20, 2020. Beginning March 23, 2020, all classes will be offered in a virtual format.

The update also offers the following information:

  • Students: All student support services will continue to be available during this period. You will hear from your faculty regarding next steps with your courses.
  • Residential Halls: Residential students will also hear directly from the Residential Life staff with information regarding the retrieval of personal belongings.
  • Faculty and Staff: The campus will continue normal operations during the extended spring break and in the coming weeks.
