There was a lot of sharing going on when I posted the bridge operator job opening with the City of Duluth, so when I saw this parking meter monitor position available I thought if you're qualified you might be interested.

 

The Parking Meter Monitor positions is an open opportunity for all qualified candidates that has a salary range of  $30,384 to $35,088 Annual Equivalent.   There are actually two positions that are open, 1 full-time and 1 part-time.

You would be part of the City's Parking Services Division.  They are looking for someone who is energetic, customer-friendly and outgoing. Please note that this is a physically demanding position that requires a large amount of foot patrol in a wide variety of weather conditions.  There will also be some driving patrols.  You will need to have  great observational skills, excellent communication ability, and focus on superior customer service. An outgoing, friendly, and informative approach to customers both external and internal is expected of this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year of verifiable education and or experience in law enforcement, parking enforcement, or a closely related degree program such as Criminology, Sociology, etc., possession of a valid Minnesota driver's license or equivalent, and ability to pass BCA security clearance in order to operate a police computer.
