Cheech + Chong Have A New THC Seltzer + It’s Made Right Here In Duluth
I walked in yesterday to my office, and sitting on my desk was a variety pack of Cheech & Chong's High and Dry Seltzer. The can features Cheech & Chong's cartoon faces, along with the phrase "Seltzer With A Different Buzz!" You had me at Cheech & Chong. I had to try it.
First, I had to figure out where it came from, and why this was just sitting on my desk. After asking around, I found out it was a sample that we got from Cheech + Chong. They sell all sorts of things related to cannabis and their comedy brand. They've enlisted the help of Bent Paddle, and they are making the new High and Dry Seltzers right in town.
There were four different flavors, all with 5 milligrams of THC.
Raspberry Highball
Grapefruit Twist
Magic Mule
Citrus Sunrise
Helpful tips from Cheech & Chong
On the can it gives you some helpful tips, like if you're new to THC to start low and go slow. It's also not to be consumed by anyone under the age of 21, and if you are subject to THC testing, don't drink this. You'll fail your test.
How does it taste?
It's a refreshing taste. It's a similar taste to alcoholic seltzers. I tried a Raspberry Highball and enjoyed it. A friend tried the Grapefruit Twist and said it had a slight grapefruit taste that wasn't overpowering.
How does it make you feel?
This isn't my first time having a seltzer from Bent Paddle Canna. I've had their THC-infused seltzer they came out with a few months ago. That's really good, too. I can see why Cheech and Chong picked Bent Paddle to produce their seltzer.
Everyone is different when it comes to THC products. Some people are affected more or less by it. If it's your first time, I would suggest you drink half the can and wait about 45 minutes to see how you feel.
I noticed in about 30 minutes how relaxed I was. After finishing the 12-ounce can, I had a pretty relaxing afternoon. It wasn't anything too crazy, I was just feeling happy, content, and a little hungry.
It's zero calories, but that doesn't mean what you munch on after isn't.
There are no calories in the Cheech & Chong Seltzer. But, it does make you hungry and I ate more than I normally would yesterday afternoon.
Where can you get it?
It's available for sale at Bent Paddle's Cann-A-Lounge at 1832 W Michigan Street. They're also having a big party today for 4/20, and featuring the product in their Cheech & Chong Release Party. Looks like a fun time if you want to swing down there today.
