It’s Hard To Beat This $7 Cheeseburger Basket In Superior

I had one of the cheapest and most delicious meals last night at a local pub. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the special was a $7 cheeseburger. Where can you get a cheeseburger for 7 bucks anymore? And a bonus was that they had many gluten-free options available.

Central Pub In Superior Monday Special

For those people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, dining out can be a nightmare. That's why when I find a place that does it right, I want to give them some kudos. That's what we experienced last night at Central Pub in Superior.

I took a bite out of my burger and immediately said with my mouth full, "I've got to blog this!"

I've been to Central Pub several times over the last few years since they opened in 2021. It's a small pub/restaurant on the main level of Central Flats.

I always get Willie's Famous Wings when I'm at Central Pub. (It's the same wings from Tavern 105 that closed).

They Even Have Gluten-Free Buns (For $2)

However, this time I saw the special was $7 for a 1/3 cheesburger, and how can you pass up that deal? I also have an issue with gluten (or apparently it has issues with me), so I was pleased to see they had a gluten-free bun for an upcharge. I even saw on their menu that they offer gluten-free wraps, which you never see.

If you've ever ordered a gluten-free bun, you know that it's usually pretty crumbly and falls apart before you can finish the burger. But these guys did it right. They knew to grill the gluten-free bun. I'm not a scientist (obviously), but I know when you toast or heat gluten-free buns or bread, it makes it 100 times better.

The burger was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My daughter loved the boneless wings. Even the coleslaw that came with the baskets was great. Usually, we skip right over the coleslaw, but it was a nice touch.

Monday Special Is Cheaper Than Most Places!

I wouldn't be able to get a burger that good with the amount of fries, really, anywhere else. Even fast food costs more than that. I'll be sure to be back on another Monday, or maybe I'll have to try some of their other specials. Like Friday's Walley Fish Tacos with fries for $9.50? See you there on Friday!
